Education Design Lab conducted a systems thinking workshop with administrators, faculty, staff & students at Oakwood University to accelerate the Career Pathways Initiative work. As part of the CPI work, Oakwood will transform the Oakwood Work Study Program into micro-internship opportunities for students.
The Career Pathways Initiative issued an open call to students to join a team of 25 developers, representing diverse disciplines and skill sets: graphic artists, programmers, animators, storytellers, etc. The goal of the team is to produce a gaming experience through which the user receives career readiness competencies.
