This site is designed to share information about our Gainful Employment for Minorities (GEM) initiative with our stakeholders. The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) and Lilly Endowment, Inc. joined forces with twenty-four historically black colleges and universities and predominantly black institutions (PBIs) to establish the UNCF Career Pathways Initiative.
The TOT Cluster, consisting of Talladega College, Oakwood University, and Tougaloo College (TOT) was awarded $6,000,000.00 to fund its 5-year initiative to build Career Pathways for Gainful Employment of Minorities (CPGEM). Dr. Prudence Pollard, Vice President of Faculty Research and Development/Principal Investigator for the CPI Grant and a team from Oakwood University, Talladega College and Tougaloo College
